Project Overview
Swexan Hotel, located in the heart of Dallas, Texas, is a luxurious, design-forward hospitality destination that demanded an equally refined flooring solution. Spectra Contract Flooring, A Diverzify Company was brought in to furnish and install intricate wood and carpet finishes across the hotel’s common areas, guest rooms, and back-of-house spaces. The project was completed in June 2023 after more than a year of meticulous planning and execution.
The Challenge
The complexity of this project was unmatched:
- 16 different wood types, each with a unique pattern and installation method
- 11 different carpet types throughout various areas of the property
- Intricate finishes across all spaces
- Non-standard wood flooring profiles that required expert handling and installation
These design elements, while visually stunning, posed a significant coordination and craftsmanship challenge—especially with varied materials and finishes in nearly every space.
