Space Overview
Kiefer USA partnered with the University of Cincinnati to support the delivery of the Sheakley Indoor Practice Facility and Performance Center, a 210,000-square-foot athletics complex designed to bring training, recovery, and performance spaces together in one place. The facility includes a dedicated indoor practice field and a multi-level performance center, with 22,000 square feet of Mondo Valor S flooring installed to provide durability, stability, and joint-friendly support for Bearcat student-athletes.
The Challenge
Coordinating a project of this size required aligning multiple environments with different performance needs while maintaining consistent quality across the space. The flooring system needs to perform under constant use and support both safety and long-term durability.
The university also wanted to incorporate strong visual elements that reflect the Bearcats’ identity.
