Diverzify Brand: HPF Southwest
Project Summary
At this Prosper ISD middle school, durability and hygiene were key priorities in spaces exposed to constant foot traffic and frequent cleaning. The HPF Southwest team delivered a resinous flooring solution designed to support long-term performance while maintaining a clean, polished look throughout high-use areas.
Addressing Project Demands
School environments—especially locker rooms—place heavy demands on flooring systems. These areas are exposed to moisture, daily wear, and frequent deep cleaning, all of which can quickly break down traditional flooring materials. In addition to durability concerns, the finished product needed to support easy maintenance and help minimize odor caused by moisture absorption and porous surfaces.
Material Selection
- Sherwin-Williams / General Polymers Resuflor® Screed Deco Quartz
- 3/16" resinous system with decorative quartz broadcast finish
- Integral 6" cove base for seamless floor-to-wall transition
This system was selected for its ability to deliver long-term durability, resistance to moisture, and a more hygienic, easy-to-clean surface compared to conventional flooring options.
Finished Project
The installation provides a clean, attractive surface built to perform in demanding school environments. The seamless system helps reduce maintenance needs while maintaining its appearance over time, supporting a healthier and more resilient space for students and staff.
